Conference held in Voronezh on issues of developing legislation on insolvency of companies
The conference with the title “Prospects of developing legislation on insolvency. Relevant issues of practice: electronic auctions, publishing information on bankruptcy” was held on 17 June at the Voronezh House of Scientists. The Auction House of the Russian Federation took an active part in the business program of the event.
Also taking part in the conference were representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Interfax AFI agency for financial and economic information, operators of electronic platforms, representatives of self-regulating companies, arbitration managers and other specialists in the bankruptcy field.
At the conference, the participants discussed the prospects of developing legislation on bankruptcy, regulating the activity of arbitration managers, the practice of applying the law on bankruptcy, the practice of holding electronic auctions to sell problematic property, and other related issues.
The representative of the Auction House of the Russian Federation discussed the existing practice of selling the property of bankrupts on the lot-online electronic platform, instructed arbitration managers and auction organizers about the work of the platform, and answered their questions.
In the first half year of work on platform, over 350 auctions were held, and property was realized of a total cost of 2.5 billion rubles. It can be said with confidence that sellers and buyers are interested in this method of realizing problematic assets.
