A former head office of Financial Capital bank in the historic center of Saint Petersburg is offered for sale

The Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHRF) scheduled an auction on behalf of the Deposit Insurance Agency (ASV).
The property of Financial Capital bank being liquidated – a three-storey office building, with an area of 764.2 sq. m., with a land plot with an area of 373 sq. m., near Turgenev and Repin squares – is offered for sale. The building, also known as the Scheglov Mansion, is the object of cultural heritage.
Address: 121A, Sadovaya Str., Saint Petersburg.
The Object is located on one of the central streets of the city – in the first line of Sadovaya Street. Nearby there is a metro station of the same name, which is a part of the largest subway interchange hub – Sadovaya – Sennaya Ploshchad – Spasskaya. Within walking distance there are ground transport stops.
The building is in good condition.

The biddings will be held at the ETP AHRF electronic trading platform through a public offer during the period from 5th April to 27th July, during this period of time the price of the Lot will be gradually decreasing.
Starting price – 128.1 million rubles.
MINIMUM price – 47.4 million rubles.

The mansion was built in 1831 according to the project of an architect Domeniko Kvadri. Later the building was rebuilt several times, the final appearance it got in 1914.

“The building is in an attractive location in the historical part of the city. The good condition of the mansion should be emphasized separately, as the historic buildings in the centre of the city often require significant investments in restoration.
