First AHR auction under program for realization of monuments of federal significance
On the 28th of June 2013 at the Moscow branch of the Auction House of the Russian Federation, the first auction was held for the sale of a building that is a monument of federal importance
The auction was held by the order of the Regulatory office of the Russian Culture Ministry. A 4-story mansion in Moscow at the address Shkolnaya ulitsa, d. 48, str. 1 was up for sale. The building is a monument of architecture of the 19th century, and part of the historical ensemble of the “Rogozhskaya yamskaya sloboda” district.
Starting price of lot – 120 451 000 rub. There were five bidders. The auction step was 3 000 000 rubles. A total of 11 steps were made by the bidders.
The final sum of sale was 150 451 000 rubles.
“We are satisfied with the results of the auction – the effectiveness of selling monument buildings is clear, at open auctions. 30 million is the result that we aimed for. Now the building on Shkolnaya will be reconstructed in accordance with the preservation order prescribed by the Russian Cultural Preservation Board,” the deputy general director of the Auction House of the Russian Federation Dinara Useinova commented on the auction.
