“The units realized at today’s auction were sold by order of Sberbank Kapital, as part of the so-called program for reformatting branches of Sberbank. The units are high-quality street retail, but do not meet the new requirements for the floor space of Sberbank offices. For this reason, it was decided to realize them at auction, including at auction of the Auction House of the Russian Federation. In October alone, around 30 similar units will be put up for auction in Moscow and St. Petersburg. There are around 1,000 such units in the country, and all of them, as a rule, are structures located in a residential development zone on the first floor of buildings,” comments Vadim Pirushin, deputy director of the Moscow branch of the AHR.
