AHRF sold the greenhouse complex of the OptTSVETtorg chain of stores in Kaluzhskaya Oblast
On September 13, the Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHRF) held auction as part of the bankruptcy proceedings of Rozovyy Sad CJSC, which owns the OptTSVETtorg chain of flower retail stores.
A greenhouses complex for growing roses, herbers and chrysanthemums was put up for sale in the northern part of Kaluzhskaya Oblast at the address: 12, Molodezhnaya Ulitsa, Nedelnoe.
The complex includes: administrative and warehouse buildings with a total area of 2.4 thousand sq.m., five greenhouses with a total area of 27.4 ha, as well as specialized equipment required for the functioning of the greenhouse complex.
The auction was held on the electronic trading platform of ETP AHRF Lot-online on behalf of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA).
The winner of the auction was Kaluzhsky Tsvetochny Holding LLC.
The sale price is 581.6 million rub.
«We are satisfied with the results of the auction. It was a complex asset for a narrow industry investor. Flower business in Russia is underdeveloped: there are no modern technologies for growing flower crops, most flowers are exported. However, with changes in currency exchange rates and the general market situation, the market situation has changed - growing flowers in Russia has become more profitable. However, the development of this business requires large initial investments, as the equipment and seeds are still imported.
In this case, the investor has purchased a ready-made greenhouse complex with imported equipment, so that in a fairly short period of time he will be able to bring the company to design capacity. Maintaining the company's profile will not only have a positive impact on the flower industry, but will also create additional jobs, which will increase the economic activity of the region», - says Olga Zheludkova, Head of the Department for Work with Problem and Non-core Assets of Banks.
