First auctions announced for the sale of moveable property of the Russian Defense Ministry

On 15 and 16 April, on the electronic platform of the Auction House of the Russian Federation, Lot-online, the first auctions will be held as part of a contract signed with the Russian Defense Ministry.

Movable property will be up for sale, including ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.

“The property, former military equipment, has been reduced to the state of scrap metal, and cannot be used for its original purpose,” says the Deputy general director of the AHR Dinara Useinova.

All the Objects have been divided into five lots for sale.

Total initial cost is 34.2 million rubles.

The revenue from the sale will go to  the budget of the Russian Defense Ministry.

In November 2013, as the result of a tender, the Russian Defense Ministry signed a state contract with the Auction House of the Russian Federation to carry out functions as a seller of movable property.
According to the conditions of the contract, the AHR will hold 925 auctions until the end of 2014.

The platform has been actively working on the market since October 2010.
At present, the total sum of sales on the platform exceeds 32 billion rubles.
It is one of the largest resources for the sale of property as part of bankruptcy proceedings, and actively promotes the realization of problematic bank assets and private property, and provides the opportunity for purchase of goods and services under Federal Law 223.
Since 2010, auctions have been held on Lot-online as part of privatization of the state property of St. Petersburg.
