Functioning ski resort “Krasnoe Ozero” in Priozersky region of the Leningrad Oblast goes up for auction

On 19 December, the Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHR) scheduled an auction for the sale of 100% of shares in TVEL-Kurort, the operator of the largest ski resort in the Leningrad Oblast, “Krasnoe Ozero”.
The auction will be held according to the Dutch scheme with a reduction in price.
Starting sale price – 700 million rubles, cut-off price – 350 million rubles.

The territory is located 90 km from St. Petersburg, at the address: Leningrad Oblast, Priozersky region, not far from the village of Korobitsyno.

The subject of the auction is a 100% share in TVEL-Kurort. The company is the owner of buildings and equipment of the resort, and also owns on rights of long-term rent (until 2055) five land plots of a total area of 110 hectares.

“Krasnoe Ozero” is one of the largest ski resorts in the Northwest, where nationwide and international freestyle competitions are regularly held.

The developed infrastructure of the object ensures a year-round flow of both private and corporate clients. In winter, ski tracks, ski lifts, equipment rental and a stadium of skiing acrobatics are available to visitors, and in summers there is a mountain-bike track, a cable car, recreation grounds, a beach and so on.

The territory of the complex also includes a 3-star hotel with capacity for 26 guests, 16 comfortable cottages for 2-11 people with a sauna (a total of 172 places), a spa center, a café, restaurant and shop. A guarded car park also operates at the resort.

“Krasnoe Ozero” is a center of attraction for flow of tourists who are interested in similar types of leisure in Finland. The advantages of the object, such as good transport access and the location – near the pure Krasnoe Lake, which is an environmentally protected site – will allow the future owner to continue to develop the territory of the culture and sport center with success,” says Dmitry Altbregin, head of department for property of private owners at AHR. “Additionally, the extensive territory of 110 hectares is of considerable interest for low-rise residential development and provides an additional possibility for development of the Object.”
