For sale offered a reconstructed palace of XIX century. The building located in Furshtadskaya Street – the most “diplomatic” street in Saint Petersburg

On 13 June the Auction House of the Russian Federation (the AHRF) has scheduled an auction for the sale of 4-storey building with an area of 3,424.7 sq. m, along with a land plot (an area 1,481 sq. m) for placing a representative office of a company, a bank or a health center. Earlier the Sberbank office located there.

Starting price – 318 million rubles (cost of 1 square meter is 92,855 rubles).

The building was reconstructed in the early 2000s, the front façade and structure of the palace courtyards were saved during a reconstruction process. The building entrances were relocated from the sidewalk in front of the house to the first courtyard, which became an outdoor grand lobby. In the second courtyard an atrium was created.

During a development of a reconstruction design the authors focused not only on the future bank office needs, but on the origin palace design. So, the front wing was added with a third floor according to unperformed design of the end of the XIX century. Courtyard annexes are disassembled, the level of the first (open) courtyard was raised to make an underground parking.

The building reconstruction design was awarded with Diploma of the Second Class of the International Architectural Festival “Zodchestvo-1999” (Arhitecture-1999) in “The Constructions” nomination and the Diploma of the First Class of the International Architectural Festival “Zodchestvo-1996” in “The Projects” nomination.

All necessary engineering systems and utilities (heating, power supply, water supply, sewerage) are available. The building is equipped with two lifts.

The Object located in 5-minute walking distance from Chernyshevskaya subway station, in the first line of buildings in Furshtadskaya Street, which is called a diplomatic center of Saint Petersburg because the consulates and representative offices of Germany, the USA and so on are located there.

In the nearest surrounding of the Object there are historic buildings, which are now adapted to be used as objects of public, business and residential purposes.
