At RAD platform there will be held an auction for the right for installation of outdoor advertising structures in St. Petersburg

On 12 September at the platform of the Auction House of the Russian Federation (RAD) the Committee for Press and Interaction with Mass Media will hold an auction for the right to conclude contracts for the installation and operation of more than 8 thousand advertising structures in St. Petersburg for a period of ten years.
30 lots are formed, each of which consists of from 68 to 529 locations for placing the advertising structures.
The cost of lots varies 48.1 million to 677.3 million rubles (this is the amount of rent for ten years).
The total starting cost of lots – 9 billion rubles.


“All lots are mixed, they combine different types of structures and different locations for placement – from downtown to bedroom community. About half of the exhibited lots are designed for small businesses.
According to the auction documentation, the winner will have to pay immediately the lease payment for the first and the last year, and then to make payment each year. In addition, the rent payment is subjected to indexation.
One of the main conditions for the admission to bidding is a non-availability of debt (not more than 25% of balance sheet assets of participant) on payments to budgets of any level or state non-budgetary funds. Also there will be limitations for lots that are destined for small businesses – experience of working of participant from one year.
The starting price of the lots close to their market value. Taking into account the experience in similar auctions in other regions, where the average excess ratio was 0.5, we look forward to comparable results” (Dinara Useinova, Deputy Director General of RAD).
