The Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHRF) is preparing to sell 100% of shares in the company, which owns on the basis of the property rights a three star hotel “Kareliya”, also known as the “Hotel-Suitcase”. Facades of buildings have the shape of two suitcases and are chronicled in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest three-dimensional picture in the world.
The hotel is located in Krasnogvardeysky District of St. Petersburg, in the immediate vicinity of the Park 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution.

Starting price – 440 million rubles.
Bidding is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.

The area the hotel is – 19.4 thousand sq. m., land plot area – 6.4 thousand sq. m.

The hotel is located in an area with good transport accessibility – 6 km to the Ring Road interchanges, in 10-12 minutes by car – to the city center, in 30 minutes – to the airport.

In 2014 reconstruction of the building and the guest room stock was completed. Today the hotel has 359 rooms (doubles and suites).
The Owner has developed an investment project, providing an increase of the number of apartments up to 94 due to the reconstruction of office premises. Approximate amount of investment could reach about 100 million rubles.
